Day one of the Goodlawyer Summit is dedicated to three topics: mental health, legal tech, and the future of the profession. With three headline panels and a keynote or two, we promise an engaging and purposeful day you don’t want to miss.

Kick-off the Goodlawyer Summit with a welcome speech from our CEO, and a look into the future of law schools from Ian Holloway, Dean of U of C Law.
Panel 1: Burnt To Turnt — Mental Health In The Profession

Practicing law is hard. In this session we will open the conversation and discuss mental health challenges that are all too common amongst legal professionals. Our speakers will share stories and strategies for improving your performance and living a better life.
Panel 2: Lawyer Superpowers — Emerging Legal Tech

This panel will shed some light on how technology is changing the way we practice law. We will explore how the pandemic expedited tech adoption, where artificial intelligence fits in, and how disruptive platforms are improving outcomes for lawyers and clients.
Panel 3: School & Sandboxes — Future Of The Profession

This session will be an expert discussion on the future of the legal profession, including how lawyers are regulated (and how that’s changing) and how law schools can better equip their students with the practical tools they will need to be successful.

Who is “Future of Law” for?
The Goodlawyer Summit: Future of Law will bring together some of the brightest minds in law to discuss how disruptive new practices are improving outcomes for lawyers, clients and everyone else. The learning objective is to show legal professionals how they can 'do more good' by leveraging new technologies, addressing mental health challenges, and how new approaches to regulation and education are shaping the future of the profession.
Though all are welcome to register, this day will be most relevant to practicing lawyers, paralegals, support staff, legal educators, students, regulators and government officials.
